Guru Hariharan is the Founder and CEO of CommerceIQ, the pioneer in Retail AI that equips CPG brands with AI agents to scale retail operations, optimize retail media, and win on the digital shelf.
With over 15 years of experience at the intersection of ecommerce, technology, and AI, Guru founded CommerceIQ in 2012 following distinguished leadership roles at both Amazon — where he built automated vendor management and supply chain systems — and eBay, where as General Manager of Marketplace Experience he led the global launches of the "Fast N' Free" shipping and Global Returns programs.
A 2024 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Bay Area finalist, Guru holds a Master's degree with a focus in Machine Learning from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Wharton School.
Sai Koppala
Chief Marketing Officer
Sai brings CommerceIQ more than 20 years of marketing and strategy experience from a mix of enterprises and startups, leading marketing efforts across demand generation, product marketing and brand management.
Prior to CommerceIQ, Sai served as Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer at SheerID, where he played a key role in driving growth over seven years. His career also includes leadership roles at Apigee (acquired by Google), SAP and co-founding TalentCove.
He holds an MBA in Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. Sai grew up in Mangalore, India, and now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Matteo Marchetta
Chief Financial Officer
Matteo is an experienced financial leader with 20 years of expertise across B2B and B2C industries, guiding companies from startup to global expansion. He specializes in financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions and growth strategies.
Prior to CommerceIQ, Matteo served as CFO at Canary Medical and Augmedix, where he spearheaded financial transformations, successful fundraising rounds, and operational enhancements. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at SAP and Boston Consulting Group.
Matteo holds a Master of Business Administration from IESE Business School and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Parma.
Damian Austin
Chief Customer Officer
Damian brings over 15 years of customer success leadership to CommerceIQ, with a proven track record of delivering measurable impact across the customer journey. He is passionate about value-based engagement and leads cross-functional teams across Customer Success, Support, Professional Services, Operations, and Education.
Prior to CommerceIQ, Damian was Vice President of Customer Success at Algolia, where he led the global team to drive value realization and retention through strategic engagement, best practices, adoption, and education. He also held multiple leadership roles at Alteryx, spanning the full post-sales lifecycle.
Damian holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Loughborough University in the UK.
Jyoti Gouri
SVP, People & Culture
Jyoti has a detailed and well-rounded experience as a Human Resource Business Partner & Talent Acquisition, specifically in high-tech product development companies in startups and large enterprises.
Her experience covers working in all spheres of HR practice, including Driving Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Acquisition and Retention, Change Management, HR support during Merger & Acquisitions, Compensation & Benefits and coaching in environments under Matrix Structures with Multinational Cultural Sensitivities.
Himanshu Jain
Cofounder and Head of Products
Himanshu is an experienced business leader with 12+ years of experience across product management, customer success, business development, statistical modeling, building enterprise software and services. Himanshu leads product management for the CommerceIQ Advertising platform.
Prior to CommerceIQ, Himanshu advised fortune 100 companies at Kearney and started his career building machine learning models at Capital One.
He has a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi and an MBA from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.
Gaurav Khanna
SVP, Engineering and India Site Leader
Gaurav is an experienced engineering leader with 15+ years of experience building and scaling enterprise software products at companies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
He spent many years in the EC2 org at AWS, where he led building and shipping multiple new cloud services in the area of enterprise management. Most recently, he served as a Director Engineering in the Developer lifecycles services division at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Gaurav earned his B.E. in Computer Engineering from the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi and his PhD in Computer Science from Ohio State University.
Nimay Parekh
SVP, Growth and Partnerships
Nimay serves as SVP of Growth and Partnerships at CommerceIQ. He has over 20 years of experience in product and commercialization leadership, having successfully scaled and exited multiple PE and VC backed companies.
He led Product and Growth at Series E Sequoia and Google Ventures backed Security Scorecard and Martech Forrester Wave leader Jivox. Additionally, he co-founded and exited Cloudreach as a PE roll up via Blackstone.
Nimay holds an MBA from INSEAD and a GSP in AI Robotics from NASA and Google backed Singularity University. He is a TEDx and SXSW speaker, a published author of 6 research papers in AI, and was invited to become a White House Presidential Innovation Fellow in 2019.
Anne Wu
VP, Head of Legal
Anne oversees the legal function at CommerceIQ and brings over 15 years of in-house experience advising companies in corporate law, commercial transactions, M&A, intellectual property, and privacy matters.
Prior to joining CommerceIQ, Anne served as Head of Legal at Measurabl, an ESG software company. She has also served in a variety of legal leadership roles at tech companies ranging from early-stage to post-IPO. Anne began her legal career as an intellectual property associate at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, and as a litigation and corporate attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
Anne received her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, M.A. from Brown University, and J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.
Jeffrey Kennedy
VP, Corporate Controller
Jeff is a seasoned finance executive focused on corporate strategy, process improvement, and creative problem solving. He is hands-on and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and an ability to quickly understand new landscapes and subject matter.
Jeff has held senior finance roles across multiple companies and holds a B.A. in Physics & Astronomy from Whitman College and a Masters in Accounting from Golden Gate University.
Katen Johal
VP, Sales
Katen is an experienced business leader with 13+ years of experience across performance marketing, retail media, business operations and program development.
A sleeves up leader, Katen helped scale 2 agencies through 9-figure exits and now works to solve problems for CommerceIQ's largest clients. Katen holds Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Psychology from the University of California San Diego.
